The rhinoceros is a large, herbivorous mammal known for its thick skin and one or two horns made of keratin. There are five species of rhinos, found in Africa and Asia: the white, black, Indian, Javan, and Sumatran rhinos.

Despite their bulky size, rhinos can run up to 50 km/h (31 mph). They are mostly solitary animals, except for white rhinos, which live in small groups. Their diet consists of grass, leaves, shoots, and fruits.

Rhinos are endangered due to habitat loss and poaching, as their horns are highly valued. Conservation efforts are crucial to protecting them and maintaining ecological balance.
