Today we are joined by David Douglas a long time senior official of the National Union of Mineworkers. In this discussion we cover the great coal strike of 1984-85 and how it was the miners themselves that pushed that strike forward. We also talk about why the British ruling class destroyed the coal industry and how that compares to the attacks on workers at the Grangemouth refinery now.
