Holotropic Breathwork is a type of pranayama breathing technique developed in the 1970s by Dr. Stanislov Grof, a pioneer in the field of psychedelic research for psychotherapeutic use. Dr. Stan Grof developedc breathwork in order to achieve similar psychotherapeutic benefits that he was witnessing with his patients through using plant medicines, but without the use of psychedelics. Dr. Stan Grof began witnessing powerful results through using the breathing technique with patients.

In this video, Sky trains with Michael Stone, a certified facilitator ofc breathwork who studied directly under Stan Grof. Michael Stone describes what breathwork is, how it works.
