Apricot juice is a traditional Middle Eastern drink made from dried apricots, is a refreshing and nutrient-rich beverage, perfect for iftar during Ramadan. Known for its naturally sweet and tangy flavor, this juice is packed with essential vitamins and minerals, providing a quick energy boost after a long day of fasting.

Ingredient :

-Khubani 500 grams ( Dry Apricot )
-Cheeni 1/2 cup or to taste ( Sugar )
-Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
-Zarda Ka Rang 1/4 tsp ( Yellow Food Color )
-Ice cubes as required
-Water as required ( Pani )

Direction For Cooking :

-Rinse the dried apricots thoroughly.
-Place them in a bowl and soak them in enough warm water to cover them. Let them sit for 2-3 hours until softened.
-Transfer the soaked apricots along with the soaking water into a blender jar.
Add sugar, lemon juice, and a few drops of yellow food color.
Blend until smooth and thick. If needed, add a little more water to adjust the consistency.
-Transfer the smooth apricot paste into an airtight jar or container.
-Store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
-When ready to serve, take a few tablespoons of the apricot paste and add it to a glass.
-Add cold water as per your desired consistency and mix well.
-Add ice cubes for a refreshing touch.
