This judgment decides who will be in the first resurrection (Revelation 20:6) and who will meet Yeshua in the clouds at His return (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). Only if He is judged worthy as our Redeemer will those in Him be found fit to enter the 1000-year reign with Him in heaven. This judgment stands in contrast to the final judgment of the wicked after the 1000 years (Revelation 20:5, 11-15), when the condemned will face eternal destruction.
