Leesburg Flip Flops Again & Fluoride Is Out

Leesburg never had fluoride. But some local dentists pressured the council to start fluoridating right around the time this new court decision on fluoride’s toxicity came down (Fall 2024).

After multiple meetings, much public pressure and looming state bills plus expected federal guidance, Leesburg caved and pulled the plug on the new fluoride system for good.

Another 10 residents showed up to speak in opposition to fluoride and none were there in favor.
