This silent amateur film, Pazzetti - Baltimore and Ohio Centenary Celebration 1927, from George Wallace Struble’s collection, celebrates 100 years of Baltimore & Ohio Railroad locomotive history. Filmed during the Fair of the Iron Horse in Halethorpe, Maryland, September 24–October 16, 1927, it captures the grand pageant of historic trains—from Peter Cooper’s Tom Thumb (1829) to modern engines—parading before 25,000 spectators. Struble, a Bethlehem Steel VP and Naval Academy grad (1908), documented this milestone, later donated by his daughter, Margaret Struble Pazzetti.
