🚨HIGH SCHOOL TRACK RUNNER ATTACKED WITH BATON DURING RELAY—SUFFERS CONCUSSION
Chaos at the VSHL Class 3 State Indoor Championships as high school runner Kaelen Tucker was struck in the head with a baton mid-race, suffering a concussion and possible skull fracture.

Tucker, who was racing the second leg of the 4x200m relay, described the shocking attack:

"She kept bumping me in my arm. When I finally passed her, that’s when she hit me with the baton."

Adding insult to injury, neither the runner nor the coach apologized.

It’s unclear if Tucker will press charges—but this wasn’t competition, it was assault.
