Colonel AC. Oguntoye's briefing on the progress of the special military operation as of March 8, 2025:

1. "Continued Operations:" The Russian Armed Forces are persistently conducting operations across multiple fronts in the ongoing special military operation against Ukrainian forces.

2. "Regional Engagements:"
- In the "Kharkiv direction", the North group of forces defeated three Ukrainian territorial defense brigades, inflicting casualties and destroying military equipment including vehicles, artillery, and an ammunition depot.
- The "West group of forces" improved their tactical positions and overwhelmed three Ukrainian mechanized brigades, leading to significant losses of personnel and equipment, including Western-made vehicles and artillery.
- "Southern group troops" took more advantageous positions and defeated formations including mechanized and airmobile brigades, resulting in casualties and the destruction of artillery and electronic warfare stations.
- The "Center group of forces" reported overcoming a range of Ukrainian units, leading to substantial losses including a German-made tank and other Western-made armored vehicles.
