Tarahuasca - Hamsa, Hand of God - feat. Hurricane Holly and Prana Rising

"Hamsa, Hand of God" is a song about healing through the reclamation of the sacred feminine archetype. Archaic religions venerated both male and female aspects of divinity. “Civilized” religions largely lost veneration of the divine feminine. This is explored in detail in Ryan Eisler’s “The Chalice and the Blade."

We at Tarahuasca believe the time has come to invoke the sacred divine feminine again and heal our wounds through her grace. May the children of Isaac, Esau and Ishmael sing and dance in sacred ceremony and heal—together.

You'll hear our mashup of two classic folk mantras in our song.

First is the Hebrew "Hineh Ma Tov"
"Hineh ma tov uma na'im shevet achim gam yachad."
which means: Oh how joyful it is to be among family.

Second is the Arabic Sufi chant "Ishq Allah Ma'bud Lillah'"
which means: God is Love, Lover, and Beloved.
