Wang Yi lays down the law: China won't take U.S. crap anymore!
Following Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian’s warning to the US that China is ready for war a few days ago, China’s foreign minister and top diplomat Wang Yi laid down the law today in his 11th Two Sessions Meet the Press event.
Wang had a few harsh words directed at the US and the Trump administration, and even a warning for Japan which has recently started trying to meddle in China’s domestic affairs.
The message was clear: China is the adult in the room, and Beijing is ready and willing to engage with other countries in a rational, win-win, and respectful way, but if you push too far, China will not hesitate to put you in your place.
