From PubMed: "Anesthesia recommendations published in 2021 recommend the use of analgesia [for the fetus] from the second trimester onwards (14+ weeks gestation) or whenever invasive procedures are performed on the fetus, while researchers suggest consideration of pain management from 12 weeks gestation."

But we're supposed to believe that it's a good and beautiful thing to dismember babies to death that same age without providing them with any pain relief.
