RECEIPT #3
After my interview with the @detroitnews the other day, it became clear just how much they either don’t know or simply refuse to report on what’s really happening in Michigan.

So, I’ve decided—it’s time to start uploading the receipts. We’ve documented the truth, and the people deserve to see it.

We The People are the media now.

RECEIPT #3 👇🏼
In June 2022, @GovWhitmer boasted about adding nearly 25,000 auto jobs. However, labor statistics reveal that Michigan had 169,500 auto jobs when she assumed office, and by May 2022, that number had declined to 166,700—a loss of nearly 3,000 jobs.
Despite these facts, Whitmer continued to peddle these inflated figures, misleading the public about the state’s economic reality.

Even when confronted with these discrepancies, Whitmer’s administration attempted to backtrack, amending official statements to clarify that the 25,000 figure referred to “projected” jobs that had been “announced” but not yet actualized.
This semantic maneuvering doesn’t change the reality: under her leadership, Michigan’s auto industry has suffered job losses, not gains.
