Two Thousand Maniacs! (1964)

Directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis, known as the "Godfather of Gore." The story follows a group of unsuspecting travelers lured into a small Southern town, where the residents—vengeful spirits of Civil War-era Confederates—celebrate their centennial by subjecting the visitors to gruesome, sadistic executions.
