In this episode of The Source, our senior editor Zain Raza speaks with historian and author Vijay Prashad about the significance of the recent heated exchange between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Their conversation centers on the United States' shift in policy toward Ukraine and what it means for Europe and the future of NATO. They also examine the claim that Russia has ambitions beyond Ukraine that European leaders are using to justify cuts to social spending in favor of militarization. Finally, they take a look at the latest developments regarding the Gaza Strip, including Trump's ethnic cleansing plans as well as Western media coverage of the exchange of hostages between Israel and Hamas.
