Welcome to today’s Tea break – which takes place in the garden and who knows if all goes well perhaps we can enjoy many more tea breaks here
Today I share the knock on the door that came from a TV licencing agent on behalf of the BBC and what happened during that visit
I cant help but think that these agents may not be complying with law when it comes to knocking on your door on behalf of the BBC
According to Google - The estimated total pay for a TV Licence Enforcement officer is an average salary of £29,931 per year, but the higher end of this salary scale comes in at a whopping £38,834
According to available information, the exact number of TV Licence officers in the UK is not publicly disclosed, but it is estimated to be in the thousands, with the enforcement work being primarily contracted out to companies like Capita, meaning the number of officers can fluctuate depending on workload and contract

Makes you ask the question as to whether or not it would be better to get rid of those and scrap the licence fee altogether
