Peace News and Views Ep163 Panel Discussion: Genetics

Our 3rd anniversary show, and It's panel discussion night once again with Joint hosts Siir SteveO & Kim Cooper on NOK Network

This months panel discussion is focusing on genetics. Cross breeding has created some amazing strains geared to treat specific medical conditions, as well as catering to the pallets of many varying tastes around the world. Cross breeding also brought us auto-flower, low riders strains for smaller spaces & novice growers. We went from breeding out CBD in the 80's & 90's to breeding it back in once we discovered the medicinal effects of CBD. More cannabinoids are being isolated & named as our knowledge of the plant continues to expand, with 303 identified so far.
But what has been lost in that process? Heirloom seed strains are vanishing at a rapid rate, with many already deemed as extinct species in the world of growing.
Tonight's panel with Joshua White, Dan Borchardt, Andrew Cross, Clayton Neidigh, Gurd Hayes, & Sandy Lepp will be looking at genetics in the world of cannabis cultivation.
