Amid their busy duties as UN peacekeepers, Yonif 406/CK soldiers from Indo RDB 39-F MONUSCO took the time to visit and pray at a local mosque in Congo.

This moment was an opportunity for friendship and cultural exchange, allowing the Garuda Troops to build stronger connections with the Congolese people and introduce themselves to the community in a meaningful way.

The local residents warmly welcomed us. After prayer, we had a touching conversation with a young Congolese child who had memorized Surah Al-Fatihah—a truly inspiring experience.

The people of Congo expressed their gratitude for our visit and hoped we would return more often. May this bond continue to grow in the spirit of peace and unity.

Garuda, Success!
