Lord, hear my whisper,
Ponder my quiet longing,
Know my heart’s deep cry;
I call out to You,
My King, my God, hear my voice,
To You I will pray.

Each dawn I will rise,
My prayer lifted to the skies,
Waiting, eyes turned up,
In faith, I stand strong,
Knowing You hear my song,
In Your presence, Lord, I belong.

You take no delight
In the path of wickedness;
Evil flees from You,
Fools shall stand no more,
Workers of sin face Your wrath,
Justice will be done.

Flattery deceives.
