Ken does a #DIY mermaid mop jib from items mostly obtained at @dollartree . Try Avy Coffee at https://avycoffee.com?sca_ref=7245989.BHUtGGAS4tZK. Use code KENJO882 to get 20% off Fioboc menswear at https://www.fioboc.com.

In this video, Ken uses mostly #DollarTree bought items to do a novel variant on the classic mop fly. Rather than tying a fly, he makes a mermaid mop jig. This bait is great for any jig application in the taking of crappie, bluegill, other panfish, bass, and even frogs! Admittedly, Ken is not a professional bait maker or fly tyer, but the low cost and relative simplicity of this pattern makes it easy for any angler to replicate.

If you make this jig, please let us know!
