Zelenskyy ready for peace negotiations regrets spat with President Trump.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is "ready" to begin peace negotiations under US President Donald Trump's leadership.
Zelenskyy spoke about his change of heart in a video and a long-winded post on social media on Tuesday.
In a post to X, Zelenskyy asserted that Ukraine "is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible" to secure peace.
"None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer," Zelenskyy wrote.
"Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump's strong leadership to get a peace that lasts."
Zelenskyy's announcement comes only a day after President Trump paused aid to Ukraine.
