The Story of Adam, Satan, and Paradise - A Short Lesson

In English:

When Allah commanded the angels to bow to Adam, they all obeyed, but Satan, in his arrogance, refused and tread the path of disbelief. Adam was granted a place in Paradise, where he could eat and drink freely, though he was warned to stay away from one tree. Satan, with his cunning, lured them both into disobedience, depriving them of Paradise’s blessings. Allah then ordered them to descend to Earth, where they would become each other’s enemies and live for an appointed time. Later, Adam learned words of repentance from his Lord and sought forgiveness, and Allah, in His mercy, forgave their transgression. Truly, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Compassionate. This event teaches us a profound lesson about obedience, repentance, and the boundless mercy of Allah.

جب اللہ نے فرشتوں کو حکم دیا کہ آدم کو سجدہ کرو، تو سب نے اطاعت کی مگر شیطان نے تکبر میں انکار کر دیا اور کفر کے راستے پر چل پڑا۔ آدم کو جنت میں رہائش دی گئی، جہاں وہ بے روک ٹوک کھا پی سکتے تھے، لیکن ایک درخت سے دور رہنے کی تنبیہہ تھی۔ شیطان نے چالاکی سے دونوں کو ورغلایا اور جنت کی نعمتوں سے محروم کر دیا۔ اللہ نے حکم دیا کہ زمین پر جاؤ، جہاں تم ایک دوسرے کے دشمن بنو گے اور ایک مقررہ وقت تک زندگی بسر کرو گے۔ پھر آدم نے اپنے رب سے کلمات سیکھے، توبہ کی، اور اللہ نے اپنی رحمت سے ان کی خطا معاف کر دی۔ واقعی، وہ بہت معاف کرنے والا اور مہربان ہے۔ یہ واقعہ ہمیں اطاعت، توبہ اور رحمت الہی کا عظیم سبق دیتا ہے۔
