Unexpected Sighting at 8,000 ft in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at Big Meadow, California

Salmon Creek & Big Meadow are located in the Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains of California at approximately 8,000 feet in elevation. While at the location, to our surprise, a balloon came floating down over the meadow then rose back up into the air. Even at this elevation, in the middle of nowhere, balloons will find you.
