Driver Rolls SUV, Rushed to Kingwood, LIVINGSTON, March 3, 2025 - Shortly after 8 pm on March 3, 2025, a tan 2002 Chevy Blazer was north-bound on US-59 and took the exit onto the feed (just north of El Burrito). The driver left the pavement to the left, crashed through a street sign, then rolled. Her vehicle came to rest upside down partially on the pavement. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Heavy Rescue Unit, and Officers with Livingston Police Department, including Craig Ballew, Matthew Stuart, and Sergeant Jack Mueller. The driver, Christian Dees, 43, of Livingston, was to be flown, but weather conditions did not permit. Dees was rushed to Kingwood Hospital in serious condition. Intoxication is suspected. Additionally, during a vehicle inventory, prescription pills were found in Dees' vehicle. Dees' vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. This accident remains under investigation by the Livingston Police Department.
