Rabbits are small mammals from the Leporidae family, known for their long ears, fluffy tails, and strong hind legs for jumping. They have continuously growing teeth, large eyes for detecting predators, and thick fur for protection.

They live in grasslands, forests, and even urban areas, being most active in the morning and evening. As herbivores, they eat grass, vegetables, and fruits, also practicing caecotrophy to absorb more nutrients.

Rabbits reproduce quickly, with 4–12 babies per litter. They are social animals, communicating through body language and thumping their hind legs. Popular pet breeds include Holland Lop and Angora.
