You know you're supposed to read your Bible but you're not sure why or how.
🤷‍♀️ Where do I start?
🤷‍♀️ What does it mean?
🤷‍♀️ How does it apply to my life?
All great - and necessary - questions to ask!

This example of Psalms and Proverbs is a great one. Wherever you choose to start reading, it's good to find out a few key things that will help you understand what you're reading and how to apply it to your life:
✏️ Who is the author? We aren't always told this but when it's given, it can help things make more sense.
👥 Who is the audience? Another piece of context that shows us why certain things are addressed the way they are.
📌 What's the point or topic of the passage? Every letter of every word in the Bible is there for a reason and finding out the purpose of your chosen section will help you see how it speaks to your life in the moment.

Have you read your Bible today? What's one thing that stuck out to you?
