Brawl Outside Texas High School Leads To Two Youths Being Shot

Posted • March 2, 2025: Houston, Texas — Pasadena police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspected shooter who opened fire across the street from Pasadena Memorial High School, injuring two students on Friday afternoon. Pasadena ISD said both students were transported to the hospital. One was shot in the chest and is reported as stable. The other victim was shot in the arm, police said. Both are expected to survive. The shooting was the result of a massive fight that broke out across the street from the school shortly after dismissal, according to witness video that is now part of the police investigation. There was a large police presence and crime scene tape draped in the 4400 block of Crenshaw near Preston Ave. On Friday night, police released an image, taken from the witness video, showing a Hispanic male in his mid-teens wearing sandals, black shorts, and a black hoodie with a red emblem. He had a gun in his hand. Police said he fled in a vehicle.

According to police, they don't know why the fight started. Anyone with information on the gunman is urged to contact the Pasadena Police Department.
