Many people view the central figures of Scripture as larger than life; almost like heroes. They achieved great things, fought mighty battles, and lived extraordinary lives. While this is true, we often overlook their beginnings: their origin stories. Where did they come from? Who were they before God called them?

Today, Al explores the backgrounds of familiar names like Moses, David, and Jonah, uncovering their humble beginnings. Through their stories, he reveals a powerful truth: God often finds those He uses in the most ordinary places. He chooses "Humble Heroes."

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
