The Truth About Spook Hill Lake Wales Florida - Real Reviews

Today we are in Lake Wales Florida at Spook Hill.

Spook Hill is a mysterious spot in Florida where cars seem to roll up the hill defying gravity. Known as a gravity hill or a spook hill, is considered to be an optical illusion.

That is what I also believed, however after speaking with one of the locals that had family in this area in the early days, I heard a different story. They told me that Spook Hill had been around for quite some time, since it was nothing but a dirt road. The farmers in the area noticed their horses seemed to tire more quickly toward the bottom of the hill, right in the exact spot that now seems to defy gravity. This was strange to them since they figured it should be easier to walk down a hill than up one. However, it seemed to have the opposite effect on their horses.

Sounds a lot like to the legend posted on the sign to me. Could it be possible that somehow it was really more than just a mind trick? Let me know what you think.
