Broken Crown V2

Broken Crown

Footsteps echo down the hall,
Shadows dance along the walls.
Once we ruled these neon streets,
Now we’re ghosts of memories.

Smoke and ruin, fire and glass,
All our sins caught up at last.
You reach for me with shaking hands,
But I don’t know where we stand.

Are you my sister, or my enemy?
Do I fight you, or set you free?
Are we past the point of saving?
Tell me now, ‘cause I’ve been waiting…

We built a kingdom out of pain,
Now all that’s left are burning names.
You wear a broken crown,
But was it worth it now?
We were fire, we were fate,
Now we’re tangled up in hate.
Tell me, is there no way out?
Or do we burn it down?

You paint the night in crimson light,
A laughing queen who lost her fight.
I still see Powder in your eyes,
Buried deep beneath the lies.

Every step is razor-thin,
I don’t know where we begin.
Are we sisters? Are we war?
I can’t tell anymore.

Are you my sister, or my enemy?
Do I fight you, or set you free?
Are we past the point of saving?
Tell me now, ‘cause I’ve been waiting…

We built a kingdom out of pain,
Now all that’s left are burning names.
You wear a broken crown,
But was it worth it now?
We were fire, we were fate,
Now we’re tangled up in hate.
Tell me, is there no way out?
Or do we burn it down?

If I called your name, would you answer?
If I reached for you, would you shatter?
Or are we just too far gone?
Too lost to carry on?

We built a kingdom out of pain,
Now all that’s left are burning names.
You wear a broken crown,
But was it worth it now?
We were fire, we were fate,
Now we’re tangled up in hate.
Tell me, is there no way out?
Or do we burn it down?
