Daniel Jesse is a rock n roll drummer, musician and a filmmaker. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. His main influences are John Bonham, Tommy Lee, Quinten Tarantino, and P.T. Anderson. He was the drummer for MEAT (Metal Edge Assassin Team) for 7 years. He has been making films since 2017.

Daniel played drums on three studio records, and one live record – available on all streaming services:

Daniel Jesse is now a solo independent musician and filmmaker with a working theory on how local bands can do better in maximizing their resources and efforts in working local and regional music scenes.

Being a regular in the Utah entertainment scene for many years, Daniel has not been immune to the stress and temptations of the industry. Daniel is a recovering alcoholic, with nearly 3 years of sobriety that he is very proud of. Jokingly Daniel proclaims – “I’m a drunk. Alcoholics go to meetings.”

He has re-directed his desire for alcohol into a new appreciation of, and aggressively promoting the use of non-alcoholic beverages and “spirits”. He considers himself a connoisseur of non-alcoholic beverages, and has worked these new traits into his new identity as a sober entertainer.
Daniel jokingly tells people – “Musician and filmmaker are my real jobs, but being a substitute teacher just pays for that.”
