Silver Falls State Park is without a doubt THE BEST STATE PARK in the Entire State of Oregon (out of 257 State Parks)! It is the biggest State Park, the BEST WATERFALL HIKE IN OREGON, and a TOP 5 WATERFALL HIKE IN THE ENTIRE USA! Many would argue it is indeed THE BEST WATERFALL HIKE IN THE ENTIRE USA!!!!!!!!!!!! The fact that it is a State Park and not a National Park is just a historical/logistical anomaly of how things played out. It is a designated National Recreation Trail.

The Trail of Ten Falls is Absolute Legend! Starting @ South Falls on Canyon Trail Hiking Clockwise, it is an approximately 7.4 Miles, 1200 FT Elevation Gain Loop Day Hike (returning on Rim Trail back to Trailhead) through a luscious green Canyon paralleling Pristine & Serene Creeks (South Fork Silver Creek & North Fork Silver Creek) as you weave and meander around a whopping 10 World Class Waterfalls - including 4 that you get to Walk Beneath & Behind (South Falls, Lower South Falls, Middle North Falls, North Falls)! This was Hiked on 5/20/23, the weather was classic Spring in Oregon with some sunshine and overcast, and there were no mosquitoes.
