Revelation 2:8-17 Reveals the Destiny of Messiah’s Smyrna and Pergamum Assembly.

We see Yeshua’s assemblies from John’s days through to these Last Days. Adonai Yeshua the Messiah reveals the long term destinies of His congregation from 30 C.E. until the Last Days we are living.

Today, we are discussing the 2nd and 3rd of the 7 assemblies of Messiah which comprise His bride and His body. Revelation 2 reveals Messiah’s attitudes toward His assemblies and the implications of their influence on us.

Yeshua revealed Himself as the First and the Last at His first appearance to John in Revelation 2:8. He revealed His eternal character here. The First and the Last are titles that belong to Yahweh as well according to Isaiah 44.

The believers at Pergamum would face the Yeshua’s two-edged sword. Judgment always begins with the house of Yahweh. When Yeshua came against the believers at Pergamum, He confronted them with His Word.
