Cross Road is a greatest hits compilation released by the American band Bon Jovi in ​​1994. The album contains hits from between Bon Jovi (1984) and Keep The Faith (1992) and two new tracks: the hit singles "Always" and "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night", as well as a new, updated rendition of "Livin' on a Prayer" entitled "Prayer '94" available only on the North American versions. A video, also entitled Cross Road, was simultaneously released which contained 16 of the band's music videos.
The album hit the Top 3 in 25 countries and reached #1 in 13 countries and sold 5,000,000 copies world wide in its first 5 weeks of release. The album charted at #8 on The Billboard 200 and according to Nielsen SoundScan has sold 4,854,564 copies in the US to date. Cross Road was the best selling album in the UK for 1994 and received 8x Platinum certification by the IFPI Europe for selling 8 million copies across Europe. To date, the album has sold 20 million copies world wide. First single from the album "Always" went on to become their best selling single, with 1.5 million copies sold in the US and more than 3 million copies sold worldwide.
