Victoria Coates questions Europe’s commitment to Zelensky: ‘Why isn’t Ukraine in the EU?'

Former Deputy National Security Advisor Victoria Coates calls out the hypocrisy of Europe defending Ukraine over social media while refusing to “pony up” funding for its war against Russia. “If Europe is so united, if the EU is so united behind Ukraine, why isn’t Ukraine in the EU three years after the war started? Isn’t that a much better way to declare solidarity than putting them into a military alliance like NATO?” she asks.
