In this video, we make a corn mash that can be fermented and later distilled to make a fine corn whiskey. The recipe is as follows: 3.9L filtered water, 1000 grams cracked corn, 150 grams malted barley, calcium carbonate and dilute sulfuric acid to bring the mash water to pH 6.0. In a later video, we will take the spent corn that would otherwise be waste and experiment with ways that it can be more useful.
