Posted • February 27, 2025: Man Who Killed A 2-Year-Old Child He Was Babysitting Is Lynched By A Mob Outside A Police Station In Brazil — Arthur Ramos, 2 years old, died on Sunday after being taken to the hospital with injuries on his body. Geovana Ramos, mother of Arthur, murdered last Sunday in Tabira, in the backlands of Pernambuco, said that she left her son with the couple who was arrested on suspicion of the crime. Giselda da Silva Andrade and Antônio Lopes were friends of Geovana and took care of the boy in her absence according to the police. Antônio was lynched when he arrived at the police station on Tuesday night. Geovana Ramos also said, via social media, that she is receiving threats and that Arthur's father died two years ago. Delegate Joedna Soares, who is investigating the boy's death, had already informed G1 that the child's mother was not involved in the crime.
