SCRIPTURE READING FOR TODAY
Gen 30:28-34

28 Tell me how much I owe you. Whatever it is, I’ll pay it.”
29 Jacob replied, “You know how hard I’ve worked for you, and how your flocks and herds have grown under my care.
30 You had little indeed before I came, but your wealth has increased enormously. The LORD has blessed you through everything I’ve done. But now, what about me? When can I start providing for my own family?”
31 “What wages do you want?” Laban asked again. Jacob replied, “Don’t give me anything. Just do this one thing, and I’ll continue to tend and watch over your flocks.
32 Let me inspect your flocks today and remove all the sheep and goats that are speckled or spotted, along with all the black sheep. Give these to me as my wages.
33 In the future, when you check on the animals you have given me as my wages, you’ll see that I have been honest. If you find in my flock any goats without speckles or spots, or any sheep that are not black, you will know that I have stolen them from you.”
34 “All right,” Laban replied. “It will be as you say.”

The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 30:31-33 - The Blessing Made Jacob Dictate His Blessing
Laban confessed here how God had blessed him because of Jacob. Remember what God said to Abraham in Gen 12:2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. This was fulfilled in the life of Jacob, as he became the reason why Laban became blessed. Today, you and I are the Jacob of this generation. You are supposed to enjoy a blessing and be the source of blessing for many. See what God said of you in Is 60:15b "...I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations" May our families, communities, societies and nations be blessed because of us in Jesus' name!

Personal Supplication
Father, thank You for putting me in charge of the outcome of my life and ministry. I ask for Your glory on every are of my life and ministry in Jesus' name! Job 22:28-29

28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: And the light shall shine upon thy ways.
29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; And he shall save the humble person.

Weekly Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, And under his wings shalt I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee throughout this week in Jesus' name!

Only with my eyes shalt I behold And see the wicked receive their rewards. Because I have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!
