Upon coming home from Vietnam, I was assigned to The Naval Training Center (NTC) in San Diego, CA where I gave new recruits vaccinations…lots of vaccinations…thousands of vaccinations! We learned that these vaccinations were mandated, essential and lifesaving. The other Corpsmen and I never once questioned all these shots. Yet, since those 5-10 vaccinations we gave to each adult in 1971 represented a tiny fraction of what small babies now receive in 2025, many of us are seeking more information.
