This is a straightforward attempt at fixing a broken Alexa Mini speaker. The sound was muffled, with only bass coming through, so I figured the speaker was the issue. Since I didn’t have a replacement, I used epoxy to seal a crack I found. I wasn’t sure if it would help, but it seemed worth a try since the device was otherwise headed for the trash.

The process involved taking the unit apart, locating the problem, and applying the epoxy. I walked through reassembling it, including dealing with some hidden screws. Once put back together, the sound was still a bit muffled, but at least it was usable again. It’s not a perfect fix, but it’s better than before—good enough to keep it out of the garbage.
