Episode 599: Why did God need the mortal body of the Man Jesus? Part 4

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we take a look at the body of the Man Jesus Christ and the purpose God had for Him taking on mortality.

Have you ever asked yourself, why was it necessary that God become a Man? Couldn't He just create another man without sin and exterminate Adam and Eve?

Why go through all the trouble of allowing billions of people to be born in sin and taking on the likeness of sinful flesh just to kill it?

How does that compute? It really doesn't make sense to do it that way.

Well that is why God is God and we are not. The Lord's knowledge, wisdom, and understanding are immutable. Everything about what He does, says, and allows is completely righteous and just. Justice and righteousness are the very foundation of God's throne. Holy and true are all His ways.

The problem isn't with God's word or wisdom. The problem is that we as fallen sin-filled creatures are corrupt in our thinking and cannot begin to comprehend the depravity of our sins nor the holiness of God.

Hence we look at everything through a perverted lens and a darkened understanding. God has a perfect reason of entering His creation living inside the spiritual body (flesh and bones) of Christ then the mortal body of Jesus (flesh, bones, and blood) then ultimately the resurrected spiritual body of Jesus (glorified flesh and bones).

Do you need to fully understand that to be saved? No however you do need it to be true in order to be saved.

Tonight's study is 1 hour and 5 minutes in duration. I have broken it down into four segments. This is segment 4 of 4 titled Why did God need the mortal body of the Man, Jesus? Part 4
