There are arguments against media control by any administration—Biden or Trump—insisting the White House belongs to the people, not political agendas. The current Trump White House press office is deemed acceptable as long as information flows freely. However, past grievances surface: CBS once blocked Trump from discussing "the laptop," and the press corps ignored it. Now, the White House plans to rotate traditional news outlets for coverage, a move that could disrupt legacy media’s narrative dominance, sparking debate over transparency and influence 35 days into the administration.

If I don't want the biden administration to control the media, i don’t want the trump administration to control the media. The office belongs to the people. It has nothing to do with like or dislike. Right now, there isn’t a problem with what the white house press office is doing as long as the information flows. CBS stopped Trump from talking about the laptop. The press corp left the laptop out of the newscycle.
The White House says it will determine which news outlets cover Trump, rotating traditional ones. This could have a big impact on the way legacy media can control the narrative.
