Why Positive Results Are Suffering? (Avoid These Mistakes)

Summary - Being practically raised in church, there is no phrase from a Bible verse I heard more from teachers when I wanted to start something than, “count the cost”. But this verse has me rethinking what order my thinking should be in. Because what builds success, especially spiritually in my daily life? Is it counting the cost of what it would take to accomplish what you want to achieve, or is it that unless God is a part of what you’re counting the cost about, it isn’t going to work. Any kind of efforts made without God’s guidance are ultimately in vain. No matter what it may be. Whether building a successful career, a family, or true stability in your life as a whole. Everything comes from seeking God’s wisdom beyond whatever our plans might be at the time.

This passage underscores the importance of surrendering personal ambition in favor of God and Christ’s ultimate direction. Because this has nothing to do with intentions. This has to do with obedience. What truly builds success comes when we align in righteousness to God’s instructions, rather than going out on our own with our ‘noble’ intentions. We all will find much more fulfillment, trust, and peace within the directions and obedience of God’s plan than the results of going down the road of intentions. God Bless You!
