Karoline Leavitt Explains Joint Chief Ouster In Bold Shake-Up Over Dismal Performance
Posted • February 26, 2025: Well, she answered the question directly. —— Reporter: "What was the reason for the President naming a replacement for General Brown?" —— Leavitt: "He thinks he's doing a bad job." 😂 Not much more to say than that. —— Reporter: What was the reason for the President replacing the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs? —— Press Sec. Leavitt: "He thinks he's doing a bad job and it's time for a shakeup at the Pentagon. They've failed seven audits in a row." —— They've failed and clearly need new leadership. Preposterous! You can't fire someone for being bad! How dare you. How dare they? Heh. Haha. I love the smile she’s holding back before answering. She's such a pro! —— He was a DEI embassador for the last dministration. I’m glad he’s been fired. It's time for competence to be the only qualification that matters. —— “Failed seven audits in a row.” This is a very important part. Here is a brief summary of the Pentagon's past issues:
The Pentagon failed its seventh consecutive audit in November 2024, unable to fully account for its $824 billion budget. As the only major federal agency never to pass an audit, the DoD faces no immediate penalties, though its persistent issues raise concerns about transparency and waste. —— These reporters have no idea what to do. They’re accustomed to being lied to at every turn. Now these truth slaps are knocking them senseless. Is there even a need for them anymore? They are used to someone petting them and holding their hand. They can't handle being treated as adults. […] Democrats are used to failing up. They don't understand accountability. (…)
