Life lesson

Once, a rich but honest gambler befriended a cunning trickster in India. While they both loved gambling, the trickster had a habit of cheating—when losing, he would secretly swallow a die, claiming it was lost.
Noticing this, the rich gambler decided to teach him a lesson. He coated the dice with poison and used them in their next game. As expected, the trickster began winning but swallowed a die when his luck turned. Immediately, he fell gravely ill.
Although the rich man only meant to teach a lesson, he acted quickly and gave the trickster an herbal concoction to make him vomit, saving his life. Grateful and chastened, the trickster learned the consequences of deceit.
From here we can learn Dishonesty can harm not just others but also yourself. Truthfulness and integrity lead to a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
