Rep. Ralph Norman: Medicaid should require employment for able-bodied adults

Representative Ralph Norman (R-SC) reminds Democrats that budget reconciliation rules don’t allow Congress to touch Social Security or Medicare. He also explains why House Republicans want the budget resolution to include work requirements for Medicaid. “That’s what’s so interesting about the Democrats, they don’t believe in working to get a paycheck,” he says. “There are 40-year-old men who don’t have any visible means of income getting Medicaid payments. That’s not right. That’s not right to those who really need it.”
