Man Arrested in Parking Lot in Possible Stolen Truck, LIVINGSTON, February 25, 2025 - Shortly after 11 am on February 25, 2025, the Livingston Police Department was alerted by Toyota Houston that they had a missing truck that was equipped with a tracker. Toyota Houston stated that the truck was probably in the Walmart parking lot it Livingston. Officers were dispatched to the parking lot but were not able to find the truck. A short time later, Toyota Houston called again and stated that the truck was in the parking lot of McDonalds (across the street from Walmart). A truck fitting the exact description was spotted in the McDonalds parking lot. When Livingston PD officers approached the vehicle, the driver rolled down the window and a pungent, strong smell of unburned marijuana permeated from the vehicle. This gave officers and detectives probable cause for a vehicle search. The search rendered a significant amount of marijuana, and methamphetamine (in addition to a package of female sex toys). The driver, Zachary Michael Cartolano, of Houston, was placed under arrest and is facing drug charges and other possible charges. The truck was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
