Where Does DOGE Get Its Authority? |⚛

Unless you've been living under a rock the last month you've heard of DOGE, or the Department of Government Efficiency. Spear-headed by Elon Musk, with the, extremely not obvious, stated goal of making government more efficient. However, there are some things about DOGE that actually aren't obvious. Like, in spite of its name, DOGE is not a department. Also, how does it exercise its authority and who created it? Hint, it wasn't Elon Musk or Donald Trump. Let me Explain why!
