Federal workers face deadline to document work or resign

The cost that taxpayers pay is $271 billion a year.

Is it too much to ask to verify why they earn an average salary of $106,000 a year? Do you think that in the private sector, that single mother working two jobs at a restaurant wouldn’t have to justify where she was, or that the hygienist at the dental office wouldn’t have to verify how many patients she attended to?

The absurdity and, I suppose, the arrogance of workers claiming that this is a heavy burden is what’s wrong. That’s what Americans are sick of seeing. It’s not their money. We are the ones paying the bills. We have the right to know.
