Colonel AC. Oguntoye's briefing on February 25, 2025, regarding the progress of the Russian Armed Forces' special military operation are as follows:

1. "Strategic Strikes": The Russian Federation carried out precise strikes on Ukrainian military airfields using air-launched weapons and UAVs, successfully achieving their objectives.

2. "Regional Engagements":
- "Kharkiv Direction": The North group of forces engaged Ukrainian motorized infantry and territorial defense brigades near Volchansk and Liptsy, resulting in the loss of 35 Ukrainian servicemen, two vehicles, and an artillery piece.
- "Western Front": Improved tactical positions led to the defeat of Ukrainian mechanized and assault brigades around Kamenka, Lozovaya, and Makeyevka. The operation resulted in 190 Ukrainian casualties, destruction of five vehicles, eight field artillery guns (including two from NATO), an electronic warfare station, and an ammunition depot.
- "Southern Front": Russian forces claimed advantageous positions and overpowered Ukrainian mechanized and airmobile brigades in areas like Seversk and Konstantinovka, inflicting losses of 140 servicemen, four armored vehicles, and destroying two ammunition depots.

- "Dnepr Front": Encounters in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions led to 85 Ukrainian servicemen casualties, the destruction of an armored vehicle, a car, and an ammunition depot.

3. "Air Defense and UAV Operations": Russian air defense systems successfully neutralized five JDAM guided bombs, 23 Czech-made Vampire rockets, and 97 UAVs.

4. "Cumulative Losses": Since the start of the operation, Ukrainian forces have lost 656 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 44,431 UAVs, 596 anti-aircraft systems, 21,734 armored vehicles, 1,521 MLRS vehicles, 22,007 field artillery pieces, and 32,099 special military vehicles.

5. "Kursk Region Operations": Russian forces continued to press Ukrainian formations in the Kursk region, repelling two enemy counterattacks and achieving substantial losses against Ukrainian forces in multiple locations. This included the loss of more than 220 Ukrainian servicemen, significant amounts of military hardware, and the destruction of command centers and supply depots.
